Plaster death mask of Dr. Friedrich Ludwig Kreysig. Part of Robert Noel's Casts of Intellectuals series.
Cast of a man's head and neck with an open collar. The cast is on a round base inscribed with the number 5. The eyes and mouth are closed. The hair is receeding and combed over from left to right, and there are large sideburns are visible. There is a prominent chip on the tip of the nose.
Kreysig was born in 1770 and died in 1839, he was physician to the King of Saxony.
