Wax encaustic portrait on wood panel of a man; dark hard with beard, skin reddish brown, eyes dark brown and white. White/cream garment over shoulders, back-ground light. Damaged in centre with fragments missing, longitudinally cracked, some detached fragments. Tapered above head with section at right corner missing; patches of two lines of resin soaked lined adhering to back. (Ex, Temp No 432). From Hawara cemetery.
