Fragments of hieratic letter on papyrus, in black, in large, thick, clear signs, with remnants of four vertical lines on recto, two on verso. Torn with badly frayed edges. Three guidelines visible on recto. From an overseer of troops (imy-r ms') Impy, who wirtes about a bodyguard. It may be that the district councillor mentioned is going on a journey, which was a dangerous undertaking in Ancient Egypt, or that he has been somehow threatened. It may also be the case that the general has provided the bodyguard and needs a report of an incident. Petrie lot no. XIX.4. (note that the title may refer to an official in charge of labourers rather than a military official). In same frame as UC32206 & UC32207.
