Plaster life mask of Thomas Horlock Bastard, Esq. Part of Robert Noel's Casts of Intellectuals series.
Cast of a man's head and neck. The cast is on a round base inscribed with the number 14. The eyes and mouth are closed, the hair is receeding and swept forwards with large sideburns. The back of the left ear is chipped, as is the front of the base.
Horlock Bastard was born in 1796 and died in 1898, he was an author and headmaster
