Gold mourning ring with profile cameo of Jeremy Bentham with gold hair and dark brown/black face on a white background. Inscriptions are engraved outside and inside the ring, inside the ring there is a braided lock of Bentham's hair which is covered by clear glass.
"Memento for S. Van De Weyer" engraved on outside of band. Sylvain Van der Weyer was an ambassador to the UK during Bentham's life and was later Prime Minister of Belgium.
