Stereoscopic apparatus with photographic plate holder (no 1E). Black metal object on iron stand with wooden photographic plate holder on one end and brass lens piece on other. Most probably a wavelength spectrometer, constant deviation type. Photographic plate holder can be tilted from side to side by adjusting dial. Has 3 legs (cast iron). Part of plate holder can be moved up and down. There is a mirror at the inner end of the brass lens.
Photographic plate holder still contains a plate - shows a spectrum (possibly) - smokey grey in colour.
Extra piece bagged and with object - has an adjustable dial which controls the size of three slits, possibly produces the patern on teh photographic plates. Brass and iron(?). Located OBLL/17/5
